WHAT IS AN ELECTRIC FURNACE ?

An electric furnace is a device whcih generates heat due to the resistance offered to the passage of current that is passed through it.

The furnace provided by us is of indirect heating type, which implies there is no contact between the heating element ( we use high quality & long lasting kanthal heating element ) and the crucible.

HOW DOES IT WORK ?

When you put the power on of the furnace , the current passes through the kanthal coil and heat is generated due to ohmic resistance and the coil becomes red hot ; This heat is transferred to the crucible by radiation which melts the material that is inside the crucible.

HOW TO OPERATE :

Pick an appropriate and safe working space to operate the furnace. Make it certain that the area in which you are working is madeup of incombustible material that won't catch fire in the event of liquid metal spill.
Make sure there is safe distance of atleast 24 inch between the furnace and any combustible material or item that maybe present in the immediate surrounding.
Put the crucible into the furnace chamber and make sure the crucible is touching the thermocouple properly.
Add the material to be melted into the crucible(add Flux if required).
Close the lid properly.
Plug in the furnace into the 220V AC power supply.
Turn on the green coloured ON/OFF button on the furnace (Green coloured light should be lit).
For setting the temperature, Press the square button on the temperature controller, keeping it pressed press the up /down button to adjust it according to your requirement and then release.
When the metal is melt turn off the green button.
Take out the crucible from the furnace with help of a tong.

A INDUCTION MELTING FURNACE IS WHAT?

An electrical furnace called an induction melting furnace heats a charge by inducing an electric current within it, without having direct contact with the induction coil.

An induction furnace is made up of water-cooled hollow copper tubes that can be assembled in various configurations depending on the application; the melting industry often uses copper coils that are cylindrical in shape. According to the Lenz law, a reversing magnetic field is produced when a high-frequency alternating current is fed through this copper coil. Any conductor (charge to be melted) placed in this magnetic field induces an internal circular current known as an Eddy Current. The primary coil and secondary coil are the two coils that make up an induction generator.

The primary coil absorbs current at high voltage, low ampere, and set frequency. The secondary coil changes this current into low voltage, high ampere, and high-frequency current, which is then supplied to the copper coil mentioned in the preceding sentence.

HOW DOES INDUCTION-BASED HEATING OCCUR?

Two categories can be used to categorize the latest generation of static induction furnaces: iD Plus and iD .The iD series incorporates a straightforward digital thermostat that lets you set the metal melting temperature and view the actual one.

The iD Plus series has a touch screen panel that enables the user to choose from a variety of parameters, including various ways to read temperatures, including a standard "K" thermocouple at the bottom of the crucible, thermocouples that are externally mounted (either "S" or "K"), or an optical pyrometer.

These are an option that may be used. The latest generation circuit has power and control equipped with SMD technology, which could achieve more profitable and faster duty cycles than previous systems, where the crucible wore out. New is the single-phase 230 V power supply of the ST123 model, whose special feature is the possibility of using 1kg, 2kg and 3kg crucibles, without disturbing the parameters of the oven.

An interesting option is the machine-aligned casting vacuum, which allows you to make a wax stand right next to the oven.

After graduating in commerce from MSU, Baroda, and completing management study in the U.S., Mr. Parikh founded Delmer in 1987 on the principles of constant innovation and excellence. He set our vision on the need for perfection and the creation of value for our customers.

He was instrumental in bringing the best weighing technology from abroad and introducing it to the Indian market. Having global partners and expertise in products that are now manufactured in India, Mr. Parikh has been an exemplar of the perfection we demand from ourselves.

With over 35 years of experience in international business, sales, market development, and business development, I am a seasoned consultant and mentor for businesses and entrepreneurs. I have successfully owned and operated companies in Italy, India, USA, Kenya, Uganda, and UAE giving me a unique perspective on the global market.

Additionally, I can provide specialized services in the precious metals, weights and balances, and dairy farming industries because of my rich background, knowledge, and experience from my own businesses.
